To solve this problem, you can do one of two things: drill a small hole in the lid of the bucket just enough for the air hose to pass through it, or make a small notch in the top of the bucket. Then connect the air hose to the air stone.
Step 4. Now that the air system is ready, it’s time to add the nutrient medium to the clean pot. If you have ready-made plants, you can add this as well. The only thing left to do is add water and mix your nutrient solution.
